Teenage Girl Shot In Neck Fights For Her Life - Yahoo! News UK: "teenager was wounded at a takeaway restaurant in Hoxton Street, Hackney, at about 7pm on Wednesday.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'The girl had received a gunshot wound to the neck and was taken to hospital where she is in a critical condition.'
Police could not confirm if the girl was inside or outside the takeaway when she was shot.
The shooting is being dealt with by detectives from the Met's Operation Trident - the unit which investigates gun crime in the black community.
Police said it was too early in the investigation to say if the shooting was gang-related. No arrests have been made."
