Delaware crime: Man charged with kidnapping in 6-hour standoff with police delawareonline.com The News Journal: "Andre Choury, 34, of the Valley Stream Apartments, was charged with two counts of kidnapping and 14 other offenses in connection with the May 10 incident, according to New Castle County police.Choury had been under medical evaluation since he was taken into custody May 10.The incident began about 5:43 a.m. at the Foxwood Apartments, where Choury ambushed his estranged wife in the parking lot as she was leaving for work, county police Senior Cpl. Trinidad Navarro said.After the woman got into her car, Choury pulled her out by the arms and put a gun to her side, but not before she sounded the car's horn, police said in court records."
